On a major part of the vineyard, the ground is a mixture of clay and sand. The principal type of grape are the merlot which represents 70 % of the surface, the cabernet franc 20 % and the cabernet sauvignon 10 %.

The merlot reveals a marked personality: flavours of red fruits and roundness confer charm to him.
The cabernet franc will produce wines finely flavoured with a floral note or fruity and becoming more complex when matured.
The cabernet sauvignon delivers a whole aromatic potential thanks to its solid constitution.
The sauvignon, white type of vine represented on small portion of the vinyard, will give powerful flavours, fruity marked, a light acidity which will bring a great freshness.
